Man Cub

We are playing in our jungle pants today. He said "mama" for the first time this week. He probably doesn't really know what it means yet, but I love hearing it anyway. It's blowing my mind how fast this is all going. He had two little teeth sprout up while we were on vacation last week. Poor baby is having quite the time with those little suckers, but I am loving all the extra cuddles. As you can see from my blurry pictures below, this child doesn't stop moving. And how could I expect him to when he's wearing those pants?!

Exploring Springfield

Walker and I visited his Gran-Dey's cloud house today. The house is constructed of reclaimed barn wood and designed to rain when someone sits in the rocking chair. Walker loved the sound of the rain on the tin roof. A nice way to spend a couple of blazing hot hours of summer.

 

Bagels for Days

We had a lovely little breakfast date. Walker wasn't so sure about the bagel. That's okay. More for me :) Mmmmmmm!

Saving Memories

It's finally here! I am so excited about my baby book from Lucy Darling. I have been looking for the perfect baby book since Walker arrived, and this one is exactly what I needed. Like it says on the cover, it is a simple book. The thing I like most about it is the easy layout which pretty much negates the need to think. I can have an amazing book of memories and still use almost every ounce of my sleep-deprived, exhausted brain power on my little man. The end of the book has several blank pages, so when I do get a creative bug and second wind I can add my own touches. Can't wait to share pics of the finished product!
